活動報告⑨ー公衆衛生グループ巡回ー

【活動報告】
先週はJOCV 公衆衛生グループの巡回がありました。

公衆衛生グループでは管轄エリアのヘルスセンターに出向き、ヘルスセンターのハード面、ソフト面の状況をチェック、適宜指導する活動を行っています。

とは言っても、まだ現状は先輩隊員の背中を追っかけると共に、体重等の測定値を記録するだけしかできてませんが、他のヘルスセンターを見ることができたことは、自身の配属先の良し悪しを知ることができるとても良い機会となりました。

栄養状態に関して１つ気になったことは、お腹がぽっこりした子供の写真。あまりに極端なので腹水を疑いましたが、MUAC、浮腫共に異常はないので、栄養不良とは判断できませんできたが、逆に子供の『過栄養』or 栄養の偏りを目の前で感じさせる貴重な経験も得ることができました。

来週は現地語での『ヘルストーク(栄養教育)』&『クッキングデモ(調理実演)』を開始する予定です。うまく話せないことは目に見えてますが、たくさん失敗を重ねて成長に繋げていきたいですね。

【Activity report】
I made the rounds as public health team last week.

This group regularly goes to check resource and skill of health center and the stuff.

In this case, I just watched other JOCV action and wrote children's body weight on health passport, but I could understand well about not only outside health center but also my health center.

Next week, I will try to do health talk and cooking demo in local language for the first time. Even now, I can't speak local language well, I believe a lot of mistakes make me grow.
